The historic Stewart-Dworkin house at 256 Rideau Street in Ottawa appears to be under imminent threat. The rear of the building was demolished Saturday, May 10th, 2014. It is unclear whether there is a demolition permit for the building but its status as a heritage building is still under study. The site plan application is on hold.
